Detroit native Daniel Wilson first popped up on my radar earlier this year when he dropped the Stevie Wonder-esque single Heartbreaker. Now he’s back to share the stunning title track from his forthcoming EP, Boy Who Cried Thunder.

The track starts off with nothing more than some pulsating synth chords, with layers of crashing percussion, blaring horns and piano chords gradually added as the song builds up to a crescendo. And all the while, despite the instrument heavy production, Daniel’s enchanting and powerful falsetto will keep you completely and utterly captivated.
