George Ogilvie – Surveillance (Listen)
The historic English town of Canterbury is probably best known as the setting for the collection ofMedieval stories and poems known as The Canterbury Tales. Hoping to garner the town some attention for its modern-day artistic output is young singer/songwriter, George Ogilvie and based on the strength of his latest single, Surveillance, it won’t be long before he succeeds.
A gorgeous, slow-burner of a song whose gentle beginnings don’t prepare you for it’s emotive climax, Surveillance is a brilliant introduction for the uninitiated to George’s vocal prowess and masterful storytelling. Chaucer would be proud.
Listen to Surveillance up top.
