Fresh from the announcement of their Mercury Prize nomination for their album, How To Be A Human Being, Oxfordshire band Glass Animals return today with a powerful video for the album closer, Agnes.

Discussing the track, Glass Animals frontman,  Dave Bayley, explains “There are varying degrees of autobiography and my own life in each song I write. But there is one song that stands apart from the rest. That song is Agnes. Agnes is the one. It’s my favourite song on the record, and the saddest song I will ever write. Probably.”

Directed by Eoin Glaister, the video employs a human centrifuge machine to explore the weight of grief in one of the most inventive ways we’ve seen in a long time. Have a watch up top.
