Hak Baker has done it again. One of our favourite discoveries of last year, Hak has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting emerging artists in the UK, with his unique brand of ‘G-Folk’ winning him the support of critics and fans alike. Now he returns with latest effort, the brutally honest Skint.

Taken from his currently untitled forthcoming EP, Skint is yet another example of Hak Baker’s impressive lyricism and refreshing honesty. Explaining his thought process when writing the track, Hak explains “people are too preoccupied with going around as though they’re jubilant all the time, like everything’s so great, and they have to write that in every song — but you don’t. You don’t feel good all the time.”
