Montreal duo Sterling Grove comprise of Marc Luciano and Stephen Robusto and the pair have just dropped a very fine specimen of a debut album.

Parallel Lines treads a line between trip hop, pop and textured electronica and is firmly built for performing live: vocalists like Ellyn Woods and MUNYA offer their dulcet voices throughout offering moody layers to work in harmony the slickly produced tracks. Having moved away from the classic laptop producer set up, the duo have worked closely with each of their guest vocalist to create tracks that are appropriate and distinct from each other.

Standout songs are the ambient sonics on Blurred featuring Black Lotus, La vigie with the aforementioned Ellyn Woods which has an almost Morcheeba-esque husk to the vocal part and the moody breakbeat of Beneath with the always fantastic Jono McCleery.
