There is so much great talent to look forward to in 2015, and we’ve chosen artists across each main category who we think are going to have a sterling year, as they’ve all worked incredibly hard to get where they are.

Optimized-jack-garratt-main

Jack Garratt is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with great talent. His voice is sweetly but not sickly so and his falsetto is truly impressive. 2014 has been a strong year for the young twenty something, playing Leeds and getting recognized by many including BBC’s Zane Lowe. His debut EP Remnants is a real treat for your ears. It’s a lovely offering of soulful electronic songs dyed with blues and something to be enjoyed

Signed to Island Records, we are expecting big things from him in 2015.

Optimized-leon-bridges-main

With just two singles to his name so far, 25 year old Leon Bridges has released less music than most of the artists on our Ones To Watch list. Those two tracks, however, have racked up well over half a million plays on SoundCloud in just 2 months. They’ve also won him support from the likes of Jessie Ware and Zane Lowe and earned him comparisons to Sam Cooke and Otis Redding.

With his debut album due next year, we’ll be hearing a lot more of Leon’s 1950’s inspired southern soul in 2015, and it’ll be a better year for it.

Optimized-vicktor-taiwo-main

Walthamstow resident Vicktor Taiwo is playing his musical cards close to his chest, with very little information known about him or his forthcoming debut EP. However, given the young Londoner is fresh from touring with Duke Dumont I think its safe to say that 2015 is looking bright and when you hear the two fantastic tracks on his Soundcloud I assure you, you will agree.

Vicktor’s sound has the best elements of the dark RnB of the Weeknd, mixed with the vocoda stylings of T-Pain,  but there is a sweetly, moving undertone to his delivery that sends shivers down the spine. It is definitely this guys time to shine.
