Today we’re very excited to be able to bring you the premiere of the latest video to be taken from Bristol electronic soul trio Elder Island’s second EP ‘Seeds in the Sand’. Elder Island have been establishing a formidable reputation for their live shows since releasing their self titled EP in 2014. Last year saw the group supporting Texas funk trio Khruangbin, play a headline Mahogany show in London and perform at some of the coolest boutique festivals across the U.K including Annie Mac’s Lost and Found.

The three make highly infectious, danceable electronics constructed with live instrumentation from guitars to cello to keys, over-layed with the smooth, bluesy vocals of their lead singer Katy. ‘Golden’ follows that blueprint for success with steady building synths that summon up visions of sunset festival crowds and no doubt the track will feature in many such settings across the summer. In contrast, although the band shot the video themselves, the visual is a monochromatic high polish production.

You can catch Elder Island live this summer at Love Saves The Day festival in Bristol alongside NAO and Little Dragon
