Over the past 18 months, Swedish singer/songwriter, Skott, has gone from open mic nights in Stockholm’s jazz clubs, to selling out shows in LA and New York. Her unique sound is more Scandi-noir than Scandi-pop (think Sarah Lund but with better jumpers and more tattoos), and has won her plaudits from the likes of Lorde and Zane Lowe

With the release of latest single, Remain, the praise seems set to continue to pour in.

An ethereal, slow-burner, Remain finds Skott coming to terms with growing apart from her first love. Though her airy vocals are cloaked in layers of vocal effects, there is no escaping the sadness in her voice as she explains her reasons for moving on. It’s a stunning effort that will only add to the steadily building buzz around the young Swede.
