Today sees the release of In My Body the new EP from the Seattle based singer/songwriter, SYML. The much anticipated follow up to 2016’s Hurt For Me, the six track effort has been on the Mahogany HQ stereo pretty much all day. It’s definitely been worth the wait.

Our early favourite is the gorgeous Wildfire, a haunting ballad that boasting gorgeous flourishes of soaring strings. We’re also big fans of the wonderful reimagining of Neil Young’s Harvest Moon, which recasts the classic country-rock love song as a shimmering slice of modern experimental pop. On paper, it doesn’t sound like it should work, but trust us, it really does.

In My Body is a welcome return from one of the most-forward thinking artists out there and you can enjoy it in full below.
