Young The Giant not only show how impressive and versatile they are musically, but also how beautiful some parts of the United States are. This week they released an In The Open version of Eros in a stunning valley in Texas, in earshot of a small waterfall and stream.

The video premiered over on Esquire this week and lead singer Sameer Gadhia discussed the inspiration behind this ever-growing series of outdoor videos.

“In the Open has evolved beyond its original intent as just a video series. It’s become a tool for us to reimagine the songs, strengthen our craft, bond, and be inspired by what has brought us together, stripped of everything except for the essence of each song, in the midst of the outdoors. Something seems fitting about playing in the nakedness of the environment. It encourages us to bare ourselves even more. It inspires us to always play with honesty. Eros was filmed in Kraus Springs near Austin, Texas. It’s retained its beauty despite losing its ’80s arpeggiation on the record.”

Here’s another absolutely beautiful In The Open performance of ‘Islands’ from last year…
